Default Ability to have notes in applications

Hi, when I had OS 4.xxx, in applications there was an icon called notes. I believe that is what it was called. Now since I updated to OS version 5.00.1067 it is gone. The ability to write and save notes is handy and useful. Has anyone else had this experience?

Operating system 5.00.1067

Since it is a native application, it will be there somewhere. Search each folder, including the home folder. (All home folder apps are displayed when you press the BlackBerry (menu) button from the home screen.

Hi Matts,

I looked through each folder, not there. I checked on another BB (forgot the model) it's called "memo pad" Ya think this OS just didn't have notes or memo pad?

Figured it out. In Desk Top Mgr, I ran the the app. loader. Memo Pad was not checked so it was not installed. Memo pad is back where it was before the OS update. COOL.

Thanks for replying back Matts
