    Post 8900 Review

Hey guys, just was reading some reviews, and even though this is out of the UK I thought it was a pretty fair and good review, so feel free to take a look.

I'm really torn between Bold and 8900, I like the bolds back cover of leather, and it has 3g.... but 8900 is smaller, better camera, look sturdier, and plus its going to be on tmobile so I have a warranty from them.

    Good review.
I for one was all excited about the Javelin until I kept playing with 3G devices and now I don't know if I can live without it.
    :-/
Asking price will have a lot to do with it when it finally lands to see if I pick it up or wait for the magnum to have all the features I truly want/need.

Yes it will most likely be out for att before the end of this month.

And it will be out for T-Mobile early next year.

Do you think the price with 2yr contract will be higher than the bold?

It wouldn't make sense since the Bold is the flagship BB device, but who knows...

Nope here's what's goin on: RIM already gave AT&T exclusivity with the Bold - and they(AT&T) delayed the launch 5 times. Based on that bad experience, RIM is giving T-Mobile exclusivity on the 8900(at least for a few months) Also, AT&T would be stupid to launch a non 3G phone at this time, considering 3G is how they try to differentiate themselves from everyone. The 8900 is not 3G, at least not the GSM version. Not before Q2 anyway

While politically I'm sure folks at RIM are miffed at ATT, numbers are numbers. That is, ATT sells more BB's than anyone else.

ATT will(should) carry the 8900 because it's the replacement to the current Curve series, if for no other reason. That's also how they slide it past the 3G "rule".

If ATT ends up not carrying the device I'll come back in here and formally apologize

Is this guy just a troll, or a T-Mobile shill?

Personally, I think he is just spreading his own conjecture and touting it as fact.
