There are great advantages to this OS, however I've noticed some rather annoying draw backs too:

1. I have to do a QuickPull once per day, as some buttons and web links will suddenly become unresponsive. Once the QuickPull is done, it works again. Didnt' have to do this with .114.

2. When plugged in to my PC, it disabled my network and WiFi connection. Unplugged, stayed disabled. Was able to immediately enable, but still an inconvenience.

3. The issue (for me at least) of initiating a call using UMA then having it switch over to EDGE when Wi-Fi is no longer available still drops the call. Switching from EDGE to UMA works well though.

I have been running this OS for a week or so and I I don't have any of these issues. In all fairness I don't use UMA that often and wouldn't have noticed the issue with calls dropping.

So all in all to those who have updated to this OS from 114. Is it worth it?

Hasn't been worth it for me. Wordwrap isn't fixed, and battery life has not improved. Actually...it may be worse. I've wiped and installed .133 twice.

That is really strange that we have so many people that are having differrent results with this upgrade.

Shorynot did you try the link to the official upgrade? I know they should be the same but you never know.

I have the word wrap issue fixed and battery life is better for me. I installed the beta version.

I upgraded to .113 (using the official link) yesterday & haven't had any problems as of yet. I've browsed the web quite a bit, had several phone calls, sent SMS & MMS texts, updated my Calendar & Tasks, checked FaceBook using the app... I have noticed that the battery is much better! I haven't been in the situation yet, where the phone needs to jump to/from UMA and Edge, so I can't say if the dropped calls are a problem.

I have the beta os on my phone. Works fine. Should I install the official version, or just leave it be?

Are they really different?

The GPS doesn't seem to be working on .133 though I have to be honest while on .114 it didn't seem to work then either. I'm begining to wonder if this unit is having a hardware issue with GPS and if it is I better figure it out quick in case I need a replacement (i hope not).
