8900 hang/screen problem/key problem

so my BB is on a coma!

2days ago, i thought it just died. but i noticed the keypad lights are on. and so there could be a screen problem. i rebooted,removed the batt and on again.. the bb loading sign is there, so the screen is fine! but when its done loading, it just goes blank after the initializing process. the keys wont work, i cant exit, then the screen kinda goes on sleep or whatever. i am missing my bb badly now!

im thinking of bringing it to the cell shop but its gonna be expensive! hoping someone could share a cure for my BB. id love to follow the reformat thing but i cant go through the phone. is there a way to format it by just pressing some keys? or anything? just anything.... would appreciate the help bigtime! thanks
