'x' button not working on keypad

Hi
please help, the 'x' button on my keypad is broken..... trouble is, 'x' is a character of my password so my phone is 'locked' - I need to get into my phone....

Hopefully it's either under warranty or insured. You can still use DM to make a backup, but I can't think of a way to bypass the keypad. If it's not covered, disassembling and repairing/replacing the keypad membrane could fix it. Is the key gone, or just not working?

Had the same problem but with an over-sensitive A key and I bought a new membrane for 1$ and went to the local store and told the guy to change it, and it worked.

Go to a store near you and ask for a membrane replacement, if they ask for more than 10$ to repair it then just go online and order one and watch some youtube videos to learn how to fix it yourself.

Buy a new membrane, that's what I did. It was about £1, and fixed it perfectly
