Sup guys. I have scoured the internet for days without any avail to my problem.

Details - BlackBerry Curve 8520
- OS 5.0.0.592
-Whatsapp Version 2.7.7907
-BlackBerry Service from Network Provider has expired
Thus I am using Wi-Fi.

Here's the issue "download failed with error: java.io.IOException" This happens when everything is working EXCEPT.. I cannot send or receive photos.
I can send messages. If my Wi-Fi goes off (or I get out of range), and goes back on, I must restart my phone to use internet or the browser just states "Cannot find server" and Whatsapp cannot send my messages.

Please help me. I have considered installing the new 5.0.0.8xx OS but I need to be sure so here I am asking.

I am having the same problem with whatsapp,

I have blackberry 9900bold and also have blackberry services from network provider. but cannot download pictures its says java.nullproviderexception when i try to save picture apart every thing is working i can send pic and msgs also can receive msgs....
