Ok my quesion is ones a smart phone and ones a super cheap phone but they have so much in common.
Same 2MP camera
same 320 x 240 screen
Both have WIFI
And much more why is one a smart phone and one not what does the blackberry have that nokia doesnt ?and the nokia even has a bit more it has fm radio and it has a 7 hour battery vs the blackberry 4.5 ? Please tell me.

Simple. 2 different markets. Second, one has a better OS. Although we don't love every bit of BB's OS it's still superior to anything Nokia has shat out, my friend.

Can the nokia you mentioned go to the internet, fetch your email, your files in your PC, sync your calendars, access all IM networks, allow you do edit word, excel, power point, read pdf files, work as a dictionary, know when or not to ring because you are busy, function as a HP12c, provide you with directions.... ok, you probably get the picture now.

Specs are not everything.

Looking at this link, Nokia Europe - Nokia C3 - Features, it does seem like a smartphone thou. Just really not one I'd ever buy... eeugh.

What oriface did you pull that out of.

With proper battery management you get 2+ days on the 8520's battery.

More memopry on the BB, more SD card memory available on the Curve.

No FM radio... nobex takes care of that for me.
