Unlocked My 8520 [Slight Problem]

My phone was originally on Orange, but then during the process of unlocking I forgot a step.
I forgot to turn all connections off.

I don't know if that is the problem, but everytime I turn my phone off/on it has the Orange load up.
I have a O2 sim card in.

It is completely unlocked, everything disabled, I checked.

Is this normal?
Or what can I do?

Unlocking does not affect the splash screen. You cannot change the splash screen. It will remain with the original carrier.

Sounds like the device is operating normally.

Unlocking it simply means that your unlock the sim from the carrier and you can use any compatible carrier's sim in the device.
