unlocked bb not working with 3

hay can anyone help i just unlocked my bb 8520 it was on vodafone i unlocked it via is MEP2 code i tested a o2 card and it works fine but when i put my 3pay 1 all im getting is sos i cant understand why is anyone able to assist me here please thanks

The 8520 is a 2G (GSM) only device. It doesn't have 3G.

Does the 3 Network operate on that frequency in your area? Most likely, it does not.

Which means that the device will not work on the 3 Network.

is there no work around i did have a bold but it was stolen last night so i had to get this i cant afford another is there no way i can get it working ?

The device does not have the HARDWARE necessary.

There's no SOFTWARE fix for a hardware deficiency.

You need a different device or a different service provider.
