Trackpad and "A" button working intermittently, NEED HELP!!

Hey all,
I have had my curve 8530 for just a little over a year now, so it is past its warranty, and seeing how I am a broke musician... buying a new phone is not an option. For the past little while, my "A" button would stop working for a few minutes and then it would come back and everything would be dandy. However yesterday, I think it kicked the bucket, the "A" button will not work at all, no matter how many times I pull the battery, it just will not work. In addition to my "A" button problem, my track pad will scroll on the main and SMS screen, however, when I try to bring the menu up, I cannot scroll anywhere, it will not move at all. This has happened in the past, but like the "A" button, it is only for a few minutes. Since this has been going on for hours, it has become very frustrating, and just to add to the frustration, my 8530 is freezing. Is there ANYTHING I can do to fix this problem?! I cannot use BBM, check my e-mails, make phone calls (as I forgot to mention the answer call button is not working either), and it is driving me insane. Please help me if you can, I have no idea what to do.

just an FYI, I did not drop it, spill anything on it, or set it on fire (even though I want to)

Trying a software update may help with some of the navigation issues u have, but definitely u need a new keyboard membrane and trackpad, both easily available on amazon. Recommend letting a pro handle the membrane swap.
