Default Stuck on 'Wait for Device Initialization'

Hello there. I can't get this 8520 to work. I've tried several OS's on it (4,6..5.0.0492...etc) and it always stops at the same place "Waiting for Device Initialization (2nd step). The device is not being recognized by the pc so the only option I have is to make the Loader.exe detect it as USB:UNKNOWN. I tried Wiping it with BBSAK and JL_CMDer but they are not recognizing it.

Everytime it stops at about 70% on loading the device and it gives me this error
    :

"Application Loader was unable to connect with your device. Please re-connect your device, enter the password, if required, and click retry."

What can I do now ?

You can try rebooting your computer after installing the OS on your computer. Or you can try what bruiser615 said.

Disconnect the internet connection, then try loading the OS, I've had to do this before, especially when using another carrier's OS...

It doesn't get past the 2nd step where its supposed to load the applications on the device. It just hangs at 70%.

Update: Just tried it again with no internet connection and got the same results. Hangs at 70% and says: "Application Loader was unable to connect with your device. Please re-connect your device, enter the password, if required, and click retry."

Try disconnecting and reconnecting the device to a different USB port on the PC when you get that message.
    Or... Try another USB cable.
Make sure you're not connecting to a USB hub.

There's probably some app installed on your phone that stops the process.

Try deleting all of them, if you don't mind doing that.

And, how many apps do you have on your phone?

@mangcool The problem here is that the phone wouldn't boot and wouldn't let me install any new OS.

I tried with another PC and got the same result, got stuck in the 2nd step "Waiting for device initialization" of Loader.exe .. Could this be a hardware issue? I'm trying to wipe it using BBSAK or JVM but it wouldn't be recognized.

Have you tried re-installing Desktop Manager? Or maybe updating it?

And you're right, it could be a hardware issue. And if none of those solutions worked for you, the only option would be just to take it back to the store.

It is NOT a software issue......

I was also facing a similar issue on my BB9000 (Bold 1)....
red light turns ON... Blackberry loading image comes for a second and then again restarts with red light n so on n on....

I gave it to a technican... it was an issue with the 'Boot Integrated Circuit (Boot IC)' ...
got it replaced... n finally its working fine!!! couldnt beliveee ittt!! ... i thot would hav to get a new one....

so any1 still facing this issue even after trying everything out there on all the various blogs, its a 'HARDWARE ISSUE' .... try replacing that as well... who knows, u mite jus b suprised!
