streaming video issues

Hi everyone I am having a curve 8520 os 5.0 and a BIS data plan and when I try to play any streaming video over youtube it gives me an error CANNOT FIND WEB ADDRESS VERIFY THAT THE WEB ADDrESS IS VALID
I have tried different videos and different websites it works well over wifi but gives me an error over BIS I also called up my service provider they said everything is working fine
I also tried deleting two service books (web browser config) and (Vodafone live) please can any one help me plz

What is your signal strength when not on WiFi. Does it show EDGE or GPRS.

My signal strength is -48 dbs when NOT on WIFI and it keeps changing from -45 to -60 dbs ant it shows EDGE

I have similar problem. I can't stream videos with my BIS account. But videos and online tv work well when I am on wap service. I have a uTube player but it gives error over BIS connection.
Attempting to play a video on m.youtube.com switches to WAP for media streaming, then launches the media player, but the video fails to play. Even after accepting the warning that data charges may be incurred. My signal strength is is good - edge.
Pls what could be wrong???

Find the APN settings for your carrier and add them to Options > Advanced Options > TCP/IP

I have tried the wap and 3g apn of my service provider, but the result is the same. However, it streams if I load credit on my sim and stops after the credit is finish. I use the BIS on a pay as you go sim.

The way I understand BIS, once it is active, it will last you a full month period, no matter if you run out of credits.

If the data is eating up your money, then you're wasting it on WAP/APN access.

I'd ring them...

@diegonei,thanks for your assistance so far. I have Bolt browser 2.50 and it streams from uTube and CNN. But all the other players fail to connect even BerryTunes for radio and podcast.

Go to youtube.com search and copy the tittle of the video u want to watch then go to tubidy.mobi/ and paste it there.from there I can watch or download any video.
