SSH blocked
I've been using BBSSH with no problems until recently, then it stopped being able to log in. I asked the o2 shop, and while the "guru" I spoke to knew **** all, they spoke to someone on the phone who might have been able to tell their arse from their elbow and said the reason BBSSH didn't work was because it had been blocked. I'm not sure if that's by o2 or RIM.
So now I'm looking for an SSH client which might at least temporarily work. MidpSSH (which I think BBSSH is a version of) seems to be a dead loss, as is PaderSynch SSH. I've been trying the RoveIT trial, but cannot make head or tail of that and cannot get my Blackberry to connect to the machine I installed the main software. I expect it will only be even possible to SSH to the machine I installed the software on which makes it useless, but I can't even find that out.
NanoSSH and Iconfidant SSH look like they might have free trials, however I believe at least one gives you a source code and I have no idea how to turn that into a working Blackberry app.
Does anyone know how to install and use RoveIT, NanoSSH or Iconfidant? Or know of an SSH client too obscure to be likely to have been blocked yet? Or know if I was told a crock of **** and it's not blocked at all? If they actually are all blocked I am getting an Android phone in the near future.
