sos on bootup
Ok this is not a issue I can't live with as I am 90% sure its my carrier being new but anyway this is my issue
I use 8ta a carrier in south Africa that is new and in most area roams on another carriers network. I recently got my curve from a vodacom shop. (Another SP in south africa)...issue I get is after the painfully slow reboot I might get SOS in signal level. The phone is working on one of the other 3 networks other then 8ta or it will show up as MTN...that is normal as they roam on MTN network for now. Only way to sort this out is to turn radio off and on till MTN is selected and not vodacom or cell c.
I have made my home network the default in my preferred network list. But still get the random sos issue. It eventually comes rite most time from sos to edge but its a pain....I not the only one having this issue on 8ta.
Please note this phone is not networked locked to any network so that is not the case. Many people use MTN branded phones on cell c or vodacom on MTN ect.....
Thanks in advance guys
