Silver BlackBerry Logo falling off :(

Anyone else's Silver BlackBerry Logo fell off around the back on the battery cover? They're only very lightly glued in! Can push out now, got to be very careful to keep the remaining parts in..

the silver pieces flaked off the BB logo on my battery cover ;( Found another thread from a while back.

Weird, only a few months old ha.

I'm not worried as it's only cosmetic and a new battery tray would fix but a bit surprised at how easy they came off.

Same here they were falling off so I just took the rest off I couldn't take walking around with 3 still sticking around it annoyed me

I work in construction, so my BB gets battered lol.

Only took a week from rubbing etc, and they were off. Just taken the rest off and then got some silver paint from sight and filled them abck in. Looks better haha.

Take them out lol, I did and I think it looks better, even went out of my way for a windows compatible sticker lol.

That's what I thought. I think it's the oil, or something, that comes out of your palm and it damages the paint, causing it to chip.

Happened to me within about 3-4 months of having it. Really annoyed me, so I just bought a new battery cover! So far so good. I bought a silicone case as well to help matters!

It's not paint, and I treat my BB like it's my child

. (Other than dropping it slightly sometimes, but to be fair it's a lot more slippery and smaller hahaha).

Bought my Curve on July 1st. In Oct last week, barely after 4 months, one piece of my silver BB logo came off. First, though only one piece came off, I took off the rest also. It’s looking ok now. But I wonder how bad quality build this is. The seven piece logo is made of silver plastic flakes which is glued in the seven piece cavities made for it. I was so surprised how easily the rest came off when I was removing them.

I always use leather case for my BB.

Now I understand why some people says its cheap build quality.

I'm very happy with rest of the phone though.

Curious to know, is it happening with other high end BB's also like 9700, 8900, 9630/50 ????

The silver is also off of my blackberry as well. The reason it comes off so easy is the battery gets so hot some times. After I was on wifi for awhile watching videos the back of the phone started getting really hot. That's when I saw the silver coming off of the phone. It sucks.
