    Default Remove VAD?

I've read that it's possible to completely remove the voice activated dialing feature on your Blackberry. If anyone could give me instructions on how to do this or point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it. Reassigning the convenience key just isn't enough for me. I want it gone forever!

Thanks in advance for your help and time.

Google "maxmem" and download the app. Run it and use it to delete VAD (can delete TMO Fives, etc. also) and then reboot your phone. Then delete the app maxmem as you are now done with it.

This is the best way to do it if you are not familiar with cod manipulation.

Thanks so much. That made it extremely easy. The instructions that I read, though, said I should keep MaxMem for the removal of VAD because the DM reinstalls it whenever I use it. Although I guess it wouldn't be a big deal to just redownload MaxMem whenever I need it.

And since BBs dont store apps in the media card, I guess he means you should use OTALoader to get the cod and jad files so you could install anytime you want (althou you can just google it again).
