Default Problem With Wind Hellas On My 8520.

Well it's not exactly not a big problem, but a nuisance. The MyFaves screen has appeared on my 8520 since I updated, and I did not sign up for MyFaves on my contract. How am I supposed to get rid of this?

So. Again. After some research, I have found my solution and I might as well post it here for anyone else. This was from another forum so yeah...

    1. On your PC go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\Whatever your software version is... and open up the blackberry alx file. (I would recommend copying the contents of the alx file into notepad in case you need to put everything back the way it was you can just copy it back in.)

    2. Find and delete the my faves cod file. (on the 8320 it is net_rim_tmo_five.cod, should be similar in the 8900)

    3. Open the desktop manager and run application loader. It should automatically detect that you want to make the change and say something like it is updating or removing something from the 4.x core software.

Again do this at your own risk.
Even though it says it's for 8320 and 8900, it's the same for 8520. Plus if you do not know how to open the blackberry.alx file, you open it with any text editor although NotePad is recommended. Also you do not have to open desktop manager to update the change; you can go to C:/Program Files/Common Files/Research In Motion/AppLoader and run the Loader.
