Default IT Policy keeps getting re-applied

    Hi All,

I have a personal bb 8520 with a BIS plan (not BES), and one day I noticed that there was an IT policy on it that was stopping split-pipe communication which meant a couple of apps such as TubeBuddy and HulloMail won't work.

I removed the IT Policy, but I then noticed it had come back again a couple of days later. This has happened a few times now, and I think I've just discovered that it comes back when I synchronize with Outlook, or perhaps even when I just run the Desktop Manager app when my bb is plugged in.

Anyone know what might be going on here, and how to stop it? What could reapply an IT policy without me knowing? I'm not connected to a BES, so I don't know what else could be doing this...

    Default

This happened to me when a while ago-Sadly, my fix was to stop useing the DM.
Ive been with blackberry since my 8703e. I had multi. OS on my computer, and many different hybrids-I wonder if my computer just got confused and it locks down with the IT message? Verizon couldnt help, but did replace the 8530 twice when it happened-hoping it was the phone. I have deleted things from the DOS thingy-someone walked me through it-didnt help.
    Good luck
