    Default phone not charging 8530

I've had this phone for almost five months and as of recently the phone is not charging when plugged up to either the wall or by computer. If I place it on the wall charger it will begin to charge but then it will stop. Movement of the cord also makes it stop at one point I had to completely lea
ve the phone alone in order for it to completely charge. Two nights ago when I tried that very thing, I woke up with a dead phone. I thought it was just something wrong with the wall charger so I hooked it up to my computer and when its first plugged in I get a message saying the device can not charge the usb port may not have a sufficient amount of power to charge the device or that the bb driver may not be installed. Which it is. The computer is windows vista. Currently Im charging this phone wiTh a charger for another phone. What could be causing this problem? Thanks.

It appears you dropped the phone while it was charging. The charging port may be slightly bent.

I had almost the same issue but the charging cord connector bent.
