Outgoing sound not working during calls
I dropped my blackberry curve 8530 in tea, keyboard first. I immediately took it out of the cup, removed the gel case and back cover, and wiped the whole phone with a moist paper towel. The phone turned off after a few minutes so I did a battery pull and I saw some remaining liquid from the tea so I wiped that off. Then I put the battery back in and put my phone to charge since the battery had been low. After it was done charging I tried to make a phone call and there was incoming sound, but no outgoing. I removed the battery and placed it in a bowl of rice along with the phone. After about 14 hours I put the battery back in. I am having the same problem. Music, ringtones, and all other sounds work, the only problem is that there is no outgoing sound so the person on the other line cant hear me, and the phone keeps turning off after a while.
I would appreciate if someone could please help me resolve this. Thanks
