Default My 8520 can't handle... themes very well?

I have a Curve 8520 using JSL v7 (a hybrid) and it seems to slow down when it's using themes that have things like slide bars (is that what they're called?) and scrolling bars (?). I'm trying to use OS6 Aero Silver theme and it seems to lag quite a lot. It happens when I use DreamTorch as well.
Yes, I've tried deleting all my messages, deleting apps and the sort.
You guys have any tips on how to fix this?

p.s I don't think it's the hybrid causing this, but still, I'm not too sure.

I have been using loads of Themes on my old 8520. As long as the Theme is designed for your device, it should work as designed. I have Quattro v5 installed on it now (not using the device anymore though)

I have never heard of Areo or DreamTorch so I cannot comment specifically on those two.
