Default Modding a 8520 to support 3G?

Hi, I got a Blackberry Curve 8520, for xmas. I think its totally amazing until I found out It didnt have 3G, I thought ohwell I'll use EDGE. I haven't found edge once yet and all my friends are wiping there 9360s with 3G in my face and OS7, I tried to make my BB better by using themes etc and RAM Optimizers so it could merely compete with theirs. I would love to make my 8520 Support 3G even if it involves £100/$200 external things opening it up idc. Can I buy 3G modules or something? I know my sim is 3G as it says on it. I also have an iPod Touch 4G which I wanted to give internet too. I can do that but I would like it to have 3G. I saw on the net a iPod Case which had all the 3G hardware and you put your sim in and off you go but I can't find anywhere to buy it. Is there any sort of case for the Blackberry? I'm sure theres a way to make any phone 3G come on..

Thanks Crackberry

No, there is no way to add a 3G radio to the 8520. You would be better off selling it and buying a used device such as the 9300.
