mobile voice>status - not available
Hi All
Just bought a secondhard 8520. My first BB, struggling a bit. Hope you can help.
Put in my Tescomobile SIM, got a text from Tescomobile.
Later tried to send texts and to call but cannot connect in or out.
Top right of the screen says "gprs, the little ariel symbol, and 3 or 4 bars on the signal strength.
Found the "connections>Services status>mobile voice";
Status; not avaiable
connection; not connected
I've tried Mobile network>network selection mode> manual
but that didn't make any difference
I've tried an "Orange" (EE) SIM and that was just the same.
It's possible that in practising with the keyboard I've unknowingly done some key combination I shouldn't have.
Can you suggest how to get a voice network connection?
Thank for taking the trouble to reply.

Update;
In Options>advanced options>SIM card it says "SIM card security disabled"
Am I right in thinking that I need to call Orange to unblock this? Or is this something different?
Thanks
