Default Light sensor issues

I seem to be having problems with my lcd screen, recently it doesnt seem to be auto dimming when i'm using it and even when i go to options and select auto dim 'on' it still doesnt work. Also the keyboard has stopped lighting up completely, even in the dark
What can i do?

Not sure you can do much, except for making sure your backlight brightness is on something higher than 10. If that still doesn't help your keyboard, I'd do a soft reset, or battery pull. As for the "Auto-Dim," it is an on-going joke here on CrackBerry that the damn phone just dims itself whenever it feels like. Even if your light conditions are the same, it'll "Auto-Dim" more/less, or not at all. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Thanks for your reply, yeah this problem occured when i removed my lcd screen from my phone, I've done a countless number of battery pulls and tried reinstalling the os but have had no luck.
