    Default lag on 8530

My phone, for some reason, is having a nasty problem with lag. I try to text, it lags. I check my mail, it lags. I make a phone call, it lags (during the call, which means the person can't hear me at all). Every time it lags, it drains my battery. Does anyone know why it's doing this?

Are you asking how much free space I have? I've had to pull my battery once a week over the past month.

Pulling out your battery for a reboot once a week for the lag? Application memory total 256 MB ROM.

Yes, exactly. I'm hoping it can be fixed.

Do you HAVE any applications installed lately that can cause the lag?
Did you also checked your total application memory? Is it very low when you are having the lag?
Once a week seems to be fair for the 8530 though.

No new applications, but I have 78.3MB free application space and 28.1MB on my memory card. Not sure if that's low for the application space.

It's enough to do the job. You said it lags everytime? So like every minute kinda unusable?

I have the same problem with my 8520 Curve, the Timer symbol is constantly appearing especially bad when I am trying to text and if I am readin a text by someone and receive another text the whole thing grinds to a halt.

desperate to solve the problem but this is the first time i have seen anyone post about this problem. so if you find a solution..please let me know!
