I know that you cant talk about changing a ESN on almost any forums but im not sure where to go. Last week I went on eBay and got my self a Sprint Curve 8530. After I got it I was just sitting letting around for a few days till i got the time to change phones since I always have to call in to swap phones. Anyways after i called them i found out the phone was flashed to us cellular. The way I know it was because I have to dial ##000000 to get into the phones settings and everything was to us cellular. Also after going into the ##000000 I saw that the MEID DEC number was different then the number on the back one the phone. The phones should start with 268 and should be 18 long while the in the ##000000 setting it starts with 128 and it 11 numbers long. Any one know what to do? I already got a full refund but still want to use this phone! Can I ever get the ESN back to the 268 ?

Surely if you got a refund you should be sending the phone back?

They said i could keep it and just use it for parts or something. Since I only paid $13 with the shipping since it need a need LCD lens. (Buy.com - OEM (Original) Replacement LCD Lens Screen Repair Glass for Verizon Blackberry Curve 8530 (Aries)) But it only really needed to have it taped back down.
