help i just got a new blackberry curve 8520 i have tried to down load blackberry app world but it keeps coming up with an error message the requested item could not be loaded

Do you have a BIS plan activated on your phone? It may not even download with out that as it will definitely not let you download anything in it without a BIS plan.

BIS is a BlackBerry specific data plan offered through your carrier. Tbis must be activated before many BB functions are active.

yes i have a blackberry plan i can go on everything else i get to the down load bit and then i get the error

Try uninstall and reinstalling app world.
