Google Sync
I was using Google Sync for my contacts and calendar. Everything was fine, no problems. I had to take my phone offline for about 2 months so I didn't use Google Sync. I went back online Thursday and woke up yesterday to find my contacts and calendar were completely jacked up on BOTH the phone AND the Gmail account.
My contacts were randomly multiplied (some as many as 10 times!) All contacts were missing the street address, only the city, state, and zip remained.
My calendar randomly multiplied appointments as well - some were multiplied twice while others were multiplied up to as many as 7 times or more.
I NEVER had this problem before. I spent over 8 hours yesterday fixing the mess and then re-syncing it. I thought I fixed it and woke up this morning to see that my calender had 129 events added while I was sleeping and my contacts list had doubled.
Is there a fix for this? And if so, what is it? Why did this work find before and then now it's jacked up?
