    Default email problem

Just got the new curve, and having problem with my emails. For some reason after reading the email on my phone, it's not read on my hotmail and the inbox is filling up. Also takes about 20 minutes for my emails to come through , it was instant on my last curve.
    Thanks

    1) Hotmail doesn't support 2 way sync. Also I'm confused because your inbox "filling up" shouldn't have anything to do with "read" status. That doesn't remove it from your inbox anyways.

    2) Hotmail isn't instant because it uses a sucky protocol.

It should be marked as read in Hotmail, but it won't work the other way around. However it still is not an instant sync, the sync time is somewhere in the neighborhood of 15 minutes or so.

You probably need to change the protocol hotmail is using.

Email Settings icon > Edit the hotmail account > Advanced Options > Change Protocol.

Pop protocol pretty much doesn't sync much of anything.
