Default Downloading a .jar file without installing to phone?

Can I possibly download a .jar file to the media card without the phone installing it? When I click download in a .jar file it always automatically installs on the phone. Basically, I just want to download a .jar file and put it on the media card so I can send it via bluetooth to my other phone. Have been wanting to do that in ages! Thanks in advance!

its possible. just hook it up to your pc and save it on ur memory card. to transfer it u would need to explore through the media menu or file manager to find the jar file and send it over bluetooth

Thanks for replying! But I think you misunderstood a bit. What I was saying is I want my BlackBerry to download a .jar file OTA but I want it to be saved on the media card and not installed on the phone so I can send it via bluetooth to my other phone so I can play it there. Thanks again in advance!

well for starters, don't use the native browser. use opera or ucweb as they have download managers so u could save the jar file and choose when u want to install it

    Thanks for replying back

Well yeah, that's exactly what I'm doing but, when I click the link to download the .jar file (Opera Mini), it just takes me to the native browser to install it, there's no option to save to card. But I'll try the UC Browser and see if it works.

    Thanks!

OK that did it. I can't believe it, I've been using UC Browser all the time and I didn't try to download .jar files with it. Thanks for giving me the advice. Problem solved for now.
