Does Blackberry Protect help on 8520

my 8520 is on BB protect and was stolen but i realised someone is using my bbm pin- how come this happens? i even chat to the person with my stolen handset. Is BB PROTECT A MYTH OR IT IS FOR REAL?

bb protect works on all platforms-5,6,7

There are so many different cases....please write the story.....i also had 8520,a stolen one....BB protect helped!Are you sure you are not doing something wrong...i mean settings or whatever....?

OP are you sure you have locked your 8520 on the BlackBerry - BlackBerry Protect website ?

If it gets lost or stolen it doesn't automatically lock itself.
