curve 8520 camera problems!!!

Hi, I have the bb curve 8520 with OS. 5.0.0.822 and out of the blue I am experiencing problems with my camera. When I try to start the camera it says "could not start the camera please close any other applications". I closed all applications other than the phone,bbm,home screen,web browser, and messages.... I've done 3 battery pulls and nothing... Even started my phone in safe mode (holding the escape key on startup).... Any suggestions?

I'm also experiencing problems with my camera, after installing OS 5.0.0.1036 I can't access the zoom option on it.

OP, have you tried wiping and reloading the OS?

The .822 version 5 OS is extremely unstable. @pabgon ...what did you use to install the os?

Oh, and I solved the camera zooming problems doing a battery pull.

I'm getting an Uncaught Exception: javalang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException each time I try to start my camera. I don't get the error when I start the video camera just the normal camera. Anyone know any solutions?
