Charging with a PS2

Hi all,

My wall socket charger has some electrical shorts in the cord so I got a BB USB cable to borrow and been charging it on my PC @ work. However, last night i tried using the PS2 USB port to charge it and the lightning bolt appears in the battery icon for literally a few seconds, then goes out, then the phone stops charging (I checked the battery percentage in the status menu). Why does it start charging then just stop?

Try first a different port, preferably on a different computer, to find out if it's the port/computer. If the port being used isn't at least USB 2.0 it won't charge. After that, try a different cable/charger.
