Change of SIM and call forwarding

Hi all

I hope I can explain this properly.

I have a new blackberry and took my SIM out of my old BB CURVE to put in my new one. No problems.

My wife now has my old BB, when she put her SIM in there were a few problems which have now been sorted however in call forwarding, which she has, and voice mail has been terminated, whenever I try to change the setting number to go to me (when she is on a call or not able to answer etc) it just puts in what I think is a voice mail number !

Do I need to change anything on the phone so that it knows it has a new number, sorry if that sounds daft.

I can change the forwarding number to any other of the contacts without problem, only when I choose my number (which was the number on this BB when I had it and the one on my new BB) it will not do it and defaults a number 600130102.

Call forwarding is network dependent, and if u are trying to set a forwarding number across different networks then it won't work. If it is the same network, then try a factory wipe of the BB *PLZ BACKUP ALL YOUR DATA FIRST* in the security options
