can you use the sprint updates for the 8530 if your on boost mobile? I was told boost and sprint are the same company.....

Yes, just delete the vendor file found in the OS package before running the loader file...I'm on Boost and have used Sprint and Version OS's...had Boost .654 when I bought the phone and played around with various OS versions before settling on .886, which for me is fast and all functions work as intended.
