Default Blackberry Curve 8520 wifi issues?
I have just bought this phone and in the wifi connection is a white dash instead of a tick when i try to connect to my home router. I have a data plan and tried evrything. I have been able to get the wifi workin twice but both times dropped after about 5 minutes. Please help

Do you have a BlackBerry specific Data Plan?
Is it active for the device?
Is your data working over the carrier network?

I also have this problem but with my 8530. I do have a BB data plan, and my data works over cellular. Mine can occasionally connect to the BIS over wifi, but gets disconnected a lot. My router is a Netgear.

I have a somewhat similar issue. No problem whatsoever w/ wifi connection on my home router. However at work my wifi connection only lasts about 15 mins before my 8530 fails over to cell service. Any thoughts?

I think I have the same problem? I can connect to my wifi but I can't use the browser
