Question BlackBerry Curve 8520 Battery Question?

Hi all, this has probably been asked before, but, over time my battery life has decreased, I have looked on the internet on how to increase the battery life, but its all rubbish. Would it just be better to get a new battery or something else? Thanks for your help.

Batteries depreciate over time. I'd buy a new one, since you seem to be saying it's been a slow degradation, and not a sudden change due to an app.

Default BlackBerry Curve 8520 Battery Question?

    Hello!

As BigBadWulf said, all batteries degrade over time due to the constant charge/discharge cycle. Car Batteries, Laptop Batteries alike. Your absolute best option would be to purchase a new battery.

You could also try cleaning out your event log by holding alt + lglg on your home screen. Doing this will also speed up your device as well has save a bit of battery. Allowing your battery to completely discharge until your device says "Battery Drained. Turning off handheld" then completely recharging it extends the life of your battery too. Take this into consideration when/if you do actually purchase a new battery.
