blackberry barcode scanner not working

Hi everyone i got a dvd here with a bar code on it and it says i can watch the trailer to this dvd but when i go to scan it it wont do it ! ive been trying to get it to work but after a while my phon keeps frezze n it wont let me come out of the scan mode thing so i have to take the battery just to get back to the menu can some one help me !!

which app are you using?
and you probably will not be able to watch the video on your phone.
