Best os and difference in batteries.

Hi Everyone,
I have a few batteries for my phone, all cs-2 but they are all slighly different, and are all official.
one of them is a quite old and is a block while the others have rounded edges, why is this?
Also, i am running 5.0.0.681, what would you say is the best os for battery life?

Perhaps RIM changed the battery design at some point in it's life cycle? As of the OS I have no clue never had that device

Try the Hybrid JSL 7. It has a great battery life compared to what i previously had installed, .1036
Check one of the recent OS threads, people talk about the JSL hybrid.
