BB8520 camera features
can not zoom in and out now as was before when taking pictures or videos. how can this be?

Zoom is a software feature. Try an OS upgrade, unless you've added/upgraded an app lately.

I had the same problem and discovered that if you remove the battery for a few seconds then reboot the camera zoom feature is available. Hope it works for you.
