As per the title, my blackberry recently (within a month or more) started not receiving text messages ANY time i reboot the device whether it be the power button soft-reboot or battery pull hard-reboot..... This drives me freaking INSANE, i use my phone for 95% texting so it's garbage to me if it doesn't work for that purpose.

I have tried the host routing table, rebooting with mobile network disabled then re-enabling after reboot, deleted all texts/saved texts.. firewall is OFF.

I searched the forums and tried many suggestions like restoring default themes, which I did but all I had changed was the background and hid some menu icons.

Anyone have ANY ideas? Texting WILL come back EVENTUALLY if i around with it enough... just don't know what exactly makes it kick back in! Also yes i CAN send texts and the people confirm they receive them, but i CANNOT receive any from any contacts or myself, or the carriers send text feature from their website.

Bit the bullet and did a loader.exe /factoryreset or w.e and everything is running smoothly now. Texting doesnt break on a reboot, either. Sad that I had to do that to fix it, but nothing else I could find worked..

Siiiigh, 7 days later same issue again.. phone slowed down, so I do a battery pull to reboot it and regain speed. Phone loads up, it's nice and fast, now i'm not receiving texts but once again CAN send them and confirm via other means if they received them.

Still no one with any ideas?
