    Default battery draining very quickly

i own a curve 8520 had it about a year. It used to be able to last 4-5 days average usage from fully charged but now im charging it like 4 times a day! I dont keep my bluetooth and wifi on,only when i need to use them and i close all the applications down which i have used so the only ones running are the ones which i cannot close down.
With average usage (i dont go on games and apps much) just texting, bbm, calling and a bit of internet it lasts roughly 6hours.
I fully charged the battery the other day and left it on all night (not using it) and it lasted 8hours until it ran out of battery.Surely this isnt normal,i bought a new battery few days ago but the battery life still hasnt improved.

anyone know what is causing this problem?

You should shrink the OS or juist install a new one.. close apps and connections when you are not using them.

Get the JSL v8 or v7, both have excellent battery life.
