So my friends curve 8530 battery isn't working anymore really, she said it got fatter and it would be fully charged but then shut down on her. anyways I was just wondering if my blackberry flips battery would work on her phone? this is the battery Amazon.com: Blackberry Pearl 8100 8220 Flip CM2 Battery: Cell Phones & Accessories

Those two device use different batteries. You cannot use the 8220 battery in an 8530.
