Hi gang.

I recently switched over to the 8530 (running v5.0.0.654). I cannot seem to figure out how to customize (add?) the audible alert for new voicemails. The screen notification icon appears just fine, however.

"Voicemail" isn't a choice under Messages within the profiles' Ring Tones/Alerts customization areas. And there doesn't seem to be a settable option for it within Phone Options.

I've searched countless forums and have found it is common on other BB devices--typically fixed with a software update. Clearly this is not the case with the Curve 8530.

Any info would be greatly appreciated, folks. Thanks.

Thanks, Motorcycle Mama... that was my original thought... but I'm getting my correctly configured audible notifications for SMS just fine... i.e. my SMS are notifying me exactly like I have them configured in my profiles. My voicemails, however, are not generating any audiible tone.
