Accessing Apps Beyond the Home Screen
This is my first post, and I appreciate any feedback or input you all might have.
The problem I am having a problem with my Verizon BB Curve 8530 is that i cannot access any applications beyond my home screen.
My Current view setting is Zen, and when the BB loads up it shows the Following Icons From Left to Right:
Email (Only have 1 Acct on the Phone)
Text
Address book
Calendar
Browser
Media
I have freedom to scroll all over the "home screen", i can change the volume settings, i can open up emails, place calls, surf the web, BUT These 5 icons are the only applications I can access on my phone. I cannot "scroll" into the rest of the apps on my blackberry - IE Everything else.
At this point I'm sure it a software issue, so i tried to downgrade my software which didn't work.
Just to give a little history on this phone, it is a secondary blackberry that my company used to use for On Call Representatives, the phone has seen light use and after we no longer needed On Call Reps I stored it in my desk as a backup in case I broke my newer curve (Not Sure of the Version). Well my newer curve started having issues due to it getting wet on Friday night, so I switched over to the 8530 and was able to pull my settings off the broken phone and use the 8530. The 8530 worked wonderful Monday/Tuesday but when i woke up this morning i started having the issue. It spent the night on my dresser so i'm not sure what happened and how I got here but NOTHING is working for me to resolve this issue.
I am currently going through Asurion for my other curve, but until then I need a phone!
Thank you in advance.
