8530 on Virgin Mobile any changes?

Since I've been considering getting the 8530 from Virgin Mobile, and never owned a Black Berry I was wondering if Virgin Mobile's BB app world and the normal Black Berry app world are the same? Phone and service is there a difference then say being on the verizon network vs. VM? Thanks for any help given.

The app worlds are the same.

The networks are very different. Virgin Mobile runs on Sprint's network.
