Do a battery pull (soft reset) by taking the battery out when the phone is still on
Once rebooted connect to your computer and update it
That should solve it

Do what he said and watch out for the volume opf the battery.

Whenever you have a problem like that you should go to the settings on your phone, go to applications, unninstall that app, take the battery out, instert it, let the phone start, download app from App World and then the app should work and you will have the latest version.
