8520 - Good Signal but getting Call Failed 99% of the time - HELP PLEASE

Hi Guys,

I have just picked up a 8520 it seams to work fine and i have been told it did work fine on orange. I have just unlocked it and started to use it on o2, I carnt put a BlackBerry bolt on to the phone until tomorrow due to another problem with my account.

But i have credit and every 1 in 10 times or so it will let me make a call out and once connected its fine.

I have tried to update the os but carnt find a copy of os 5 for o2 that will work on the mac the one from bb seams to be a .exe and it wont let me install it on the pc.

Any ideas guys could really use a hand here I take work calls on that number everyday.

Have you tried dialing *228 and see if that helps?
