Default 8520- Freezing then restarting.

Hi,
I have a problem, my 8520 seems to be freezing then restarting, the trackpad freezes then it spazzes up then just cuts off, then reloads onto the blackberry starting screen.
Does anyone know what this could mean?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!!

If you haven't already, pull the battery and put it back in. If you have, pull it again and hold down your Back/Escape key as it boots up. If successful you'll be in safe mode - delete any app you may have put on recently, then restart. If all that fails, you may need to reload the device operaring software.

thanks for the tip, i have already re loaded the software, from OS5 to 4.6, and it seems to be doing it a lot more on 4.6. Also, iv'e realised that I will lock it and 2 minutes later i see the little red indicator, and it boots itself up again. I have a fresh install each time and no apps!

That sounds like a battery on it's way out, might start looking at replacing it.
