8520 drop down bar ????

hay guys ok so i had a bold but due to staying at my ex's for a night it got stolen out her flat :'( anyway lol i have had to downgrade to a curve 8520 and the only thing im lost about is the drop down menu now with my bold i could run my thumb up the track pad to the top of my screen and then click it to drop a menu down for my bbm texts ect but my curve does not have this so my question is is there any way of adding this to a curve like a new theme or OS anything thanks guys

yeah you can get a theme for it os6 theme which has the drop down menus things but its mainly for show and you cant use it properly like an os6 device would function i got it on my 8520 by copying the kid in this videos instructions
